Fantasy Football Usage Trends After Week 2

If you read nothing else
- Kenneth Walker III is the best half-PPR RB setup right now. He had 92% of carries in Week 2 and has 24% of targets.
- Nico Collins is out again. Dalton Schultz (28% of targets in Week 2) is a TE1 until Collins is back.
- J.K. Dobbins has the Broncos backfield to himself while Jonah Coleman and RJ Harvey are out, and he gets the goal-line work.
- Terrance Ferguson is a streaming TE. Puka Nacua is doubtful, and Ferguson went from 1 target in Week 1 to 9 in Week 2.
- Rising RBs to grab: Jeremiyah Love, Woody Marks, Jaylen Warren and Chuba Hubbard. Aaron Jones will get a lot of work if his knee is OK.
- QB injuries hurt everyone around them: Jaxson Dart is out for the season, Jayden Daniels is out for multiple weeks, and Caleb Williams is going to miss Week 3.
49ers

- The team is cutting Christian McCaffrey's workload on purpose, and rookie Kaelon Black has led in carries.
- McCaffrey still gets 22% of targets and all 4 of the team's goal-line carries, so he's still an elite option.
Bengals

- Ja'Marr Chase bounced back: 20% of targets for the season, 29% in Week 2.
Bills

- James Cook had 100% of the team's RB carries in Week 2.
Broncos

- Jaylen Waddle's target share jumped from 11% in Week 1 to 35% in Week 2.
Cardinals

- Jeremiyah Love took over the backfield in Week 2 with 56% of carries to Tyler Allgeier's 31%.
Chargers

- TEs David Njoku and Charlie Kolar are both on IR. Together they had 24% of targets in Week 2. Oronde Gadsden could pick those up in Week 3.
- Ladd McConkey (ribs, practicing fully) should also get more looks after dropping to 12%.
Chiefs

- Kenneth Walker III had 92% of carries in Week 2 and has 24% of targets. That's the best half-PPR RB setup in the league.
Colts

- Josh Downs's target share went from about 14% in Week 1 to 30% in Week 2, which puts him in a spotlight with Alec Pierce now on IR.
Eagles

- Saquon Barkley had a stinger and played only 12 snaps in Week 2. Tank Bigsby got 54% of carries and the only goal-line TD.
- Barkley is likely to play in Week 3, but hold Bigsby.
Jaguars

- Parker Washington is officially a WR1: 37% target share for the season and 43% in Week 2.
Jets

- Adonai Mitchell (33% of targets in Week 2) passed Garrett Wilson (19%). Wilson is still the WR1 for the Jets, but Mitchell is worth rostering and potentially starting if healthy.
Packers

- Avoid the backfield: three backs are splitting it while Josh Jacobs is on the Commissioner's Exempt List and none of them are exciting.
Patriots

- TreVeyon Henderson jumped to 67% of carries after Rhamondre Stevenson fumbled.
- Be careful: Mike Vrabel says the split will go back to about even.
Rams

- TE Terrance Ferguson went from 1 target in Week 1 to 9 in Week 2 (30%), making him a streaming TE with Puka doubtful to play.
Ravens

- Zay Flowers (hamstring) is questionable and may miss a second game.
- Rashod Bateman went from 1 target in Week 1 to 9 in Week 2 (31%).
Seahawks

- Emanuel Wilson has 4 goal-line carries and took over when Jadarian Price got hurt. Price is questionable with a chest injury.
Steelers

- Rico Dowdle is out with a toe injury. Jaylen Warren played 71% of snaps in Week 2 and becomes a near-bell cow.
Texans

- Nico Collins (hamstring) is out again. Dalton Schultz had 28% of targets in Week 2 and Xavier Hutchinson had 18%, so Schultz is a TE1 while Collins is out.
- Woody Marks passed David Montgomery with 57% of carries in Week 2.
Vikings

- Jordan Mason is on IR with a thumb injury. Aaron Jones had 92% of carries in Week 2.
- Jones has a knee issue but is trending toward playing. If he plays, he's a volume RB2.
