Week 4 Weather Report: Rain in the Northeast

Forecast as of Saturday, October 3, 2026

Most of Week 4 is clear. Three 1 PM ET games have a real chance of rain, all in the mid-60s. Rain this light rarely changes a start/sit decision on its own. It does push volume toward running backs and short targets. Check wind speeds Sunday morning: wind above 15 mph matters more than rain.

Arizona CardinalsNew York GiantsCardinals at Giants โ€” 51% rain, 65ยฐ

Rain chances jump from 15% at kickoff to 51% from 2 PM on. The Giants won a wet, windy 12โ€“7 game at MetLife in Week 3. In that game Cam Skattebo handled 20 carries for 60 yards plus 3 catches for 40 yards on a 77% snap share. Expect the same plan: Skattebo is a volume start. Jeremiyah Love (91% of Arizona's RB carries in Week 3) gets a small bump from the rain as well.

Tennessee TitansBaltimore RavensTitans at Ravens โ€” 45% rain, 64ยฐ

Cam Ward played in that same wet MetLife game and went 23-of-36 for 181 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT. It was his third straight game under 200 yards. Leave him on your bench. Baltimore is an 11.5-point favorite, and a likely lead on a damp field means a lot of Derrick Henry, who leads all RBs with 6 rushing TDs.

Los Angeles RamsPhiladelphia EaglesRams at Eagles โ€” 47% rain, 64ยฐ

These teams met in the snow in Philadelphia in the January 2025 playoffs. Saquon Barkley ran for 205 yards and 2 TDs, Matthew Stafford still threw for 324, and Tyler Higbee caught a touchdown. Light rain won't look like that game, but the takeaways hold: Barkley's floor goes up and Stafford isn't bothered by bad weather. Higbee is worth a look with Terrance Ferguson (ankle) out. DeVonta Smith is unlikely to play, which shifts Eagles targets to Dontayvion Wicks and Makai Lemon.

Not affected: Lions at Panthers (about 25% rain, night game) and every dome, retractable-roof or clear-weather game.
